A Chinese airliner with 132 people onboard has crashed in the southern province of Guangxi, sparking a mountainside fire, state media reported.

据官方媒体报道，一架载有132人的中国客机在中国南部的广西省坠毁，并引发山火。

Broadcaster CCTV said the accident involving the China Eastern 737 occurred near the city of Wuzhou in Teng county.

央视报道称，这架中国东航737客机在梧州市滕县附近发生事故。

It said rescuers had been dispatched and there was no immediate details on the numbers of dead and injured.

该报道称，已经派救援人员前往，目前具体的伤亡人数未明。

根据国内官方最新发布的消息，民航局已启动应急机制，派出工作组赶赴现场。
